What is a Project Fair?
Rotary Project Fairs connect clubs seeking to participate in international service projects with those interested in collaborating with global allies.
To speak of a project fair is to speak of an open space for all Rotarians in the district who seek support from abroad to carry out their projects.
Why hold the Fair?
The main source of financial resources for carrying out Rotary projects is the Rotary Foundation, mainly for projects that require resources over thirty thousand dollars.
However, in order to optimize the collection of resources, the model used by this foundation requires that the projects have international partners, which, for many districts, generates difficulties or even makes them unfeasible, since this normally requires that the movement of associates to international events.
Due to this need and the need for regular events that contribute to South American Rotary clubs obtaining such members, an event is necessary in which district representatives meet, and that has relative ease and centrality of access to Rotarians from various countries contributing to recruiting members for humanitarian projects.
